OUR CHURCH

We believe in the authority and sufficiency of Scripture and that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone.

We desire to glorify God and exalt the Lord Jesus Christ.

THE GOSPEL

The Bible clearly states in Ephesians 2:8, 9, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

EQUIPPED FOR SERVICE

As believers grow in their faith and  increasingly reflect Jesus' character in their lives, they also are being uniquely equipped to serve others, providing Biblical solutions for the problems people face.

1 THESSALONIANS

This book of the Bible can be summarized by the phrase, "Doing well, but there's always room for growth." The Apostle Paul encourages the church to "increase and abound in pleasing the Lord."

CHURCH GROWTH

Every church aims for growth. The common dilemma is, "What is the best way to grow?" The Bible contains all the necessary guidance to address this important question.

Pastor Brian & Caryl Demers

Pastor Brian Demers joined Grace Baptist Church in October 2024, bringing with him twenty-five years of pastoral experience from two churches located in Maine and upstate New York.

Raised in Maine, Pastor Demers graduated high school in 1988. Convinced that God had called him to pastoral ministry, he pursued a college degree in pastoral studies with a focus on Biblical counseling. After graduating in 1992, he returned to Maine in order to gain practical pastoral experience in a local Baptist church. He was ordained to the Gospel ministry in 2001.

In 1997, Pastor Demers married Caryl, who also hails from Maine. Together, they have three adult children—a daughter and two sons—as well as a daughter-in-law.
